P&O Onboard Cuisine
Between them, Aurora, Oriana, and the latest superliners Adonia and Oceana boast 20 separate restaurants to indulge on the P&O Cruises culinary adventure. Families with children will be pleased to know that we have special children's menus available and even a special children's tea every day, which leaves parents free to enjoy their own dinners in peace. Passengers with special dietary requirements - diabetic, fat-free, vegetarian, gluten-free and kosher - need not worry either. Just let us know when you book your cruise and we'll make sure your needs are catered for. But whichever restaurant you dine in, you can be sure of one thing: the menus and the degree of care lavished on the food are exceptional.
Breakfast
From the crack of dawn, right around the clock, you'll be presented with delicious dilemas. Take breakfast for instance. You can enjoy freshly baked croissants and coffee in bed, sample breakfast buffet style on an open deck or a traditional breakfast stylishly served in the restaurant.
Lunch
At lunchtime there is the option of a five-course repast in the restaurant or there are lighter alternatives such as freshly baked pizzas in the pizzeria, outdoor barbecues or the sumptuous buffet selection out on deck.
Afternoon Tea
Naturally, being British ships, afternoon tea is a time-honored tradition where you can enjoy all the trimmings of tea, coffee, scones, sandwiches and irresistible cakes!
Dinner
But the undoubted highlight of the day is dinner; not so much a meal but an event. Five or six superlative courses to be enjoyed in an atmosphere of style and sophistication. The choice is extensive stretching from exotic starters, succulent fish dishes and vegetarian options to a cheese board unlike any other. On certain evenings, themed dinners present an array of cultural delights from around the world. And, of course, the accompaniment to any good meal is a fine wine. We have wines for every occasion and your wine steward will provide you with plenty of tempting ideas.
